This Privacy Policy explains how Twenty One Collective Ltd (trading as "The Bitcoin Collective") ("we", "us", "our") collects and uses your personal data when you use bitcoincollective.co (the "Website"), subscribe to our newsletter, attend our events, or join the Bitcoin Business Network.

1) The personal data we collect
Newsletter: your email address, and engagement data such as opens and clicks, when you subscribe.
Membership (BBN): your name, email, company details, billing information and account activity when you join or manage a membership.
Events: your name, email and registration details when you sign up for an event.
Contact: any information you send us when you get in touch.
Website usage: technical data such as IP address, device and browser type, and pages visited, collected through analytics and server logs.
We do not intentionally collect special category data, and we ask that you do not send it to us.

3) Who we share it with (our processors and partners)
We use trusted third parties to run the Website and our services. Each processes data on our behalf or under its own policy:
Framer and Netlify: website platform, hosting and serverless functions.
beehiiv: newsletter delivery and subscriber management.
Stripe: payment processing for memberships and events.
Airtable: membership and operational records.
Luma: event registration and ticketing.
Google Analytics and Google Search Console: website analytics and search performance.
Embedded media: YouTube, Spotify and Apple Podcasts, where episodes are embedded.
Live data providers: our tools display data from third-party sources including CoinGecko and alternative.me. When you use a tool, your browser requests data from these services.
Affiliate networks: where you click an affiliate link, the relevant affiliate network and merchant (for example Impact, and the affiliate programmes operated by the platforms we link to) may set a cookie or receive referral data to attribute any resulting sign-up or purchase, subject to their own privacy policies.
We do not sell your personal data.

Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe, then removed within 30 days.
Membership and payment records: for the life of the membership and then for six years, as required for tax and accounting.
Enquiries: 24 months after the matter is resolved, unless a longer period is needed.
7) Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email hello@bitcoincollective.co.
8) Complaints
If you have a concern we cannot resolve, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to address it first.
